Do you have a product idea, a manufacturing challenge or a business opportunity you want to explore? Composite Boost is now open for applications, offering companies in northern Sweden fully funded expert support worth up to SEK 70,000, with no co-financing required.

Fibre composites offer exciting possibilities across industries, from lightweight structures and advanced manufacturing to sustainable materials and innovative products. But turning an idea into a practical solution often requires specialist knowledge and resources.

That’s where Composite Boost comes in.

Through the Samverkansarena Fiberkomposit project, companies can access tailored external expertise to tackle a specific development challenge or explore a new opportunity involving fibre composites.

Find out more!

What can Composite Boost help you with?

The support can cover a wide range of development activities, including:

  • Product and material development: Explore new applications, improve existing products or evaluate alternative materials.
  • Manufacturing and processes: Investigate new production methods, automation, efficiency improvements or quality assurance.
  • Sustainability and circularity: Develop solutions involving bio-based materials, recycling or resource efficiency.
  • Business and market development: Explore new markets, business models, customer segments or commercial opportunities.

You don’t need to be an established composites company to apply. If fibre composites could play a role in solving your challenge, we want to hear from you.

Up to SEK 70,000 in expert support – fully funded

Composite Boost provides access to external specialist expertise tailored to your company’s needs.

There is no co-financing requirement, and the support is provided as expert services rather than a cash grant.

Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis, and the number of available projects is limited. Activities can begin once the application and required state aid registration have been approved.

Ready to take the next step?

Tell us about your idea, challenge or development need. We’ll help assess whether Composite Boost could be the right opportunity for your company.

Don’t let a promising idea stay on the drawing board.

Composite Boost is offered through the Samverkansarena Fiberkomposit project, coordinated by Piteå Science Park in collaboration with RISE.
