German delegation visits Piteå to explore composites and new business opportunities

Together with German-Swedish Chamber of Commerce, we brought Swedish and German companies, researchers and innovation actors together for inspiration, networking and discussions about potential future business and collaboration. The programme included presentations from Materials and Industry at RISE, Skellefteå Science City, Aerobase Innovations AB, GFRP Sweden AB and Piteå Science Park, followed by a company visit to Podcomp AB.

A special thank you to the visiting German companies for sharing their expertise and ideas: 3-D.services GmbH, Compospring, CTC GmbH (Airbus), Qpoint Composite GmbH, RIFTEC GmbH – Friction stir welding, DREI BOND GmbH, IWE, Garage Inx and enabling connections GmbH.

And a big shout-out to Philip Fyrsten-Hagne and Michaela Herlemann at German-Swedish Chamber of Commerce, who made the Piteå visit possible and brought together a great mix of companies, expertise and ideas from both sides of the Baltic!

Days like this are valuable because they create connections that can continue long after the meeting itself. New perspectives, new contacts and, hopefully, the starting point for future collaborations and business opportunities.
